1. Introduction
Welcome to JedRepair.com. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the appliance repair services (“Services”) provided by JedRepair, operated by Bilal Refrigeration (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By booking a service with us, you (“Client,” “you,” “your”) agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services and Appointments
a) Scope of Service: We offer diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services for a range of domestic and commercial appliances in Jeddah.
b) Booking: Appointments can be scheduled through our website or by telephone. By booking, you confirm that you are the owner of the appliance or are authorized to arrange for its repair.
c) Appointment Times: We will provide an estimated time for our technician’s arrival. While we strive to be punctual, these times are estimates and may be affected by unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or delays on previous jobs. We will endeavor to inform you of any significant delays.
3. Pricing, Quotes, and Payment
a) Diagnostic / Call-Out Fee: A fixed diagnostic fee is charged for our technician to attend your location and diagnose the fault with your appliance. This fee is payable even if you decide not to proceed with the recommended repair.
b) Quotations: Following the diagnosis, our technician will provide a quotation for the total cost of the repair, including parts and labor. All quotations are valid for a period of [e.g., 14 days]. The repair will only commence upon your approval of the quote.
c) Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept [e.g., cash, Mada, credit card]. An official invoice will be provided. In cases where parts must be specially ordered, a deposit may be required before the parts are ordered.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
a) Cancellation by Client: You may cancel or reschedule an appointment without charge by providing us with at least [e.g., 24 hours] notice.
b) Late Cancellation Fee: If you cancel with less than [e.g., 24 hours] notice, or if our technician is unable to gain access to the property at the agreed time, we reserve the right to charge the standard diagnostic fee to cover our costs.
5. Client's Obligations
a) Access: You must provide our technician with safe and unobstructed access to the appliance and a suitable working environment.
b) Information: You must provide accurate information about the appliance, including its make, model, and the nature of the fault.
c) Supervision: An adult over the age of 18 must be present at the property for the entire duration of the service visit.
6. Our Guarantee (Warranty)
a) Labor: We provide a [e.g., 3-month] guarantee on the labor for the specific repair carried out. This means if the same fault reoccurs within this period, we will return to rectify the issue at no additional labor cost.
b) Parts: Parts supplied by us are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which is typically [e.g., 12 months].
c) Exclusions: Our guarantee is void if: * The appliance has been repaired, modified, or tampered with by anyone other than a JedRepair technician after our visit. * The fault is found to be unrelated to the original repair. * The appliance has been misused, neglected, or has suffered from user error. * The issue is due to intermittent or underlying faults not discovered during the initial diagnosis.
7. Limitation of Liability
a) We are not liable for any pre-existing faults or damage to the appliance or your property discovered during the repair.
b) Our liability for any damage caused by our direct negligence is limited to the value of the repair invoice. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, such as food spoilage, loss of laundry, or loss of business.
c) It is the client’s responsibility to protect surrounding areas, including flooring and countertops, before the technician’s arrival.
8. Parts
We aim to use genuine manufacturer-approved parts where possible. However, we reserve the right to use high-quality, compatible third-party parts. All parts remain the property of JedRepair until the invoice has been paid in full.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
